Online psychological counselling for expats and digital nomads
Jan Kaspers — Psychologist (M.Sc.)
Living as an expat in a foreign country or working location independent as a digital nomad are exciting and adventurous ways to spend your life. Due to globalisation and increased personal freedom, those forms of living will probably become more and more attractive to a growing number of people.
Yet these lifestyles come with their own burdens from time to time. You might struggle with feelings of loneliness, alienation or go through phases of low self-esteem and self-doubts. Or you might also carry some weight from the past and begin to realise that — no matter where you go — you get into the same patterns all over again. Online counselling can be an enhancing support and growth factor for your life. Recent research underscores the effectiveness of online counselling (read more about it here).
With my education as a psychologist and my experience as a local therapist specialized in expat therapy, I want to help international people worldwide to understand their inner conflicts and help them to find solutions for their problems. In my work, I use modern location independent technology like video-calling. I work in English as well as in German.
